History
Oblique was founded in February 2008 when Benoit Brière, former 3D Director of Buzz Image Group, teamed up with partners to buy the Film division of Buzz.

Driven by its passion for film and determined to build upon its experience, the same talented team that worked for Buzz Film is now the driving force behind Oblique.

Benoit Brière, Co-founder and President of Oblique, is not a new kid on the block when it comes to digital visual effects. Benoit’s wealth of knowledge in visual effects production is backed by more than 20 years of experience in the field as compositor, on-set and production visual effects supervisor. The founding of Oblique is a dream come true as he finds himself surrounded by a group of artists and technicians that share the same dedication and passion for visual effects.
