Christoph’s background is in photography. Following his debut in Paris in 1989 he has been working on fashion editorials, in advertising and for the music industry. Then after five years in Paris he moved to New York to study film at the NYFA. Two years later he returned to Europe, based himself in London, and began directing commercials in addition to his work as a photographer.

“It was via photography that I discovered film which eventually brought me back again to photography”.
